Happy New Year 2022-Jesus is our Rescue Story
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We wish you all a very Happy New Year and We would like to specially thank all those who supported the Children at Light the Candle throughout 2021.

We hear many predictions about 2022. Some say it is the year of recovery from Covid, and others say Covid will only get worse. Although much has happened throughout 2021, take a step back to reflect on what truly was your rescue story. Look back at who or what carried you throughout this thunderstorm of a year, was it medical science? Was it your own knowledge? Was it technology?

At Light the Candle ministries, we say Jesus is our Rescue Story. It is our testimony that real strength in the storms of life comes from Jesus our Lord and savior. Our real hope is, one day, when we stand before Him, we will hear the words “My Son/Daughter” as said in Romans chapter 8.

Before the start of 2022, let’s pray to God to give us faith to move mountains, and strengthen those around us. Let’s pray to God to give us the wisdom to see the real needs of people around us, to stand up for the right things and inspire others on their journey to find hope in Christ. Finally, let’s decide to submit to the Word of God regularly to understand his great plans for each and everyone of us. As the Psalm reminds us “Lord, Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”.

As said by President Roosevelt, the Bible is a source for “wisdom, counsel and inspiration. It is a fountain of strength, and now, as always, an aid to attaining the highest aspirations for the human soul”. Let’s bring all theses requests to the Lord our God in prayer and daily aspire to be more like him.

All our projects resumed from Coronavirus shutdown.Children are entering a new year filled with hope because of your generous contributions, and love for them.

If you have any prayer request please send us your request to prayer@light-the-candle.org. We pray for our sponsors and well-wishers regularly.

We wish you all a Blessed New Year 2022.
